Leave this overnight and rinse it morning as usual. Vitamin C tablets can be taken as supplements after consulting the doctor.

  1. Coconut Oil Massage

Coconut oil is rich in potassium and acts as a natural remedy for hair problems. Gently massage warm virgin coconut oil on your scalp and on the ends of the hair. Leave it overnight and rinse in the morning. You can do this twice weekly.

  1. Lavender oil & coconut oil

Mix 3-4 drops of lavender oil with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and apply it on your scalp as well as hair. Cover your hair with shower cap for an hour and then rinse as usual. Soak the green tea bags in hot water for 7-8 hours. Remove the tea bags and warm the tea water to apply on your scalp. Rinse it after an hour. As green tea is a natural antioxidant it boosts hair growth. You can also use other herbal teas like nettle tea, sage tea, bamboo tea or regular black tea.

Prepare a coffee decoction of 7-8 teaspoons of coffee powder and allow it to cool. After shampooing your hair rinse off the excess water and pour coffee decoction on the scalp by massaging your hair also. Cover your hair with shower cap and leave it for 20 minutes. Soak the chia seeds in the almond or coconut milk for half an hour then apply it on the scalp. Wash your hair after 10 minutes. You can also consume soaked chia seeds in water for better results. Soaked chia seeds contain omega-3 fatty acids and are rich in antioxidants. They reduce scalp inflammation and promote blood circulation.

  1. Yoghurt for hair follicles

Yoghurt, when applied on scalp for 30 minutes, can exfoliate and unclog the hair follicles. It nourishes and hydrates the scalp and hair to improve hair growth.

  1. Mustard powder for hair

Take one tablespoon mustard powder, one tablespoon of sugar and little warm water. Mix the three ingredients to form a paste. Apply this mask on your scalp and wash it once dried. You can also add few drops of base oil to the mixture in case if you have dry hair. Other ingredients like egg-white, amla powder and lemon juice can be added based on your hair type.
